NBA Regular Season 11-10-09
Bulls vs Nuggets (Slo's pick: Bulls)
Every time the Bulls have beaten a good team this year I've been wrong which is ironic because I analyze the Bulls' every move to a somewhat unhealthy extent. If Rose plays smart tonight then they'll win, notice I said smart, not just good. Chauncey Billups is one of the smartest players in the league and is a master at getting players in foul trouble. If Rose plays under control tonight and his team shoots well around him then the Bulls will be starting 4-0 at home for the first time since the Jordan era.
Bobcats vs Magic (Slo's pick: Magic)
Vince Carter is probably playing tonight so the Magic are the obvious choice. They aren't playing great right now but they should still be able to beat the Bobcats even if they are on the road.
Heat vs Wizards (Slo's pick: Heat)
Last Wednsday the Heat went into Washington and gutted out a victory in the closing minute. I don't think that they're going to have as hard of a time tonight at home. Washington is slipping and unless Gilbert Arenas goes off for 50 I don't see the Wizards winning tonight.
Grizzlies vs Trailblazers (Slo's pick Trailblazers)
The Blazers are better and therefore they will win. There's really no rocket science to this pick, I'm taking the better team. Pretty simple.
Mavericks vs Rockets (Slo's pick: Mavs)
I continually underestimate this Rockets team. I keep thinking they're going to get blown out but it hasn't been happening, until tonight. Tonight is the night that I think we're finally going to see that this Rockets team is not as good as they've been playing.
Kings vs Thunder (Slo's pick: Thunder)
I love the Thunder's lineup and hate the Kings' lineup. I think this one's going to be a blowout. Also, like in most cases, the Kings have nobody who can guard Durant. He's great because of his ability but what makes him so effective is his wingspan and height. Durant is a matchup nightmare for most teams. Possibly the only exception is the Bulls because Loul Deng is similar in size, the only problem is that he doesn't have the ability to stop him. Not many players do.
Slo's record on the season: 64-37
Slo's record last night: 5-0
