Kevin Love to Miss Six Weeks with Fractured Shooting Hand

On Tuesday Kevin Love will undergo hand surgery in New York to repair a fracture in his shooting hand. Love hurt the hand in a preseason game against the Chicago Bulls last friday.

The loss of Kevin Love doesn't mean much to the T-Wolves' success since they were not in the playoff conversation anyway. My guess is that Kurt Rambis will move Ryan Gomes to PF and start Corey Brewer at SF. Situations like this are sometimes good because it gives non impact players a window to prove themselves under the bright lights.

Last season Love led the NBA in offensive rebounding percentage, he was the first rookie to do so since Hakeem Olajuwon.
