Tony Allen Questionable to Start New Season

Tony Allen is currently rehabbing from arthroscopic right ankle surgery and posterior tibial tendon repair which he endured during the offseason. After missing practice for the last few days with soreness it appears that he might not be ready to go for the season opener on October 27th, in Cleveland.

Allen's absence will not make a big impact because of the recently acquired Marquis Daniels, who in my opinion would have won Allen's backup job anyway. The only situations where Allen will be seeing the floor are defensive situations or in the case of severe foul trouble. Of course, that's assuming that the Celtics can stay healthy which is not a given.
