NBA Regular Season 2-24-10

Bulls vs Pacers (Slo's pick: Bulls)
The Bulls are coming off a very disappointing loss in Washington. I fully expect them to re-group tonight and lay a vicious beating on the lowly Pacers.

Hawks vs T'Wolves (Slo's pick: Hawks)
The Hawks are right on the verge of overtaking the Celtics for the third seed in the east. There is no excuse for them to lose this game.

Wizards vs Grizzlies (Slo's pick: Grizzlies)
Just when the Wizards start playing shockingly good, they lose Josh Howard for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury. The Grizzlies are in the fight for a playoff spot and they can't a game off.

Raptors vs Trailblazers (Slo's pick: Raptors)
The Raptors get the pick only because they're home, I expect this to be a very hard played game as both teams are battling for playoff position.

Bucks vs Hornets (Slo's pick: Hornets)
The Hornets are showing that they can still keep their head above water even in the absence of superstar point guard Chris Paul. This is mostly because rookie point guard Darren Collison has been playing about as good as any point guard in the league. The key for the Hornets in this game is containing Andrew Bogut. If Emeka Ofafor can stay physical with him then the Hornets should win.

Rockets vs Magic (Slo's pick: Magic)
With the Cavs struggling this is a great time for the Magic to make a push for the top seed in the east. I'm taking the Magic only because this game means more to them than it does to the Rockets.

Spurs vs Thunder (Slo's pick: Thunder)
The season series is tied at one for these teams and I expect the Thunder to take the lead tonight. If the Thunder are able to keep this an uptempo game they will win. The Spurs always have trouble playing at a fast pace for a full 48 minutes.

Mavericks vs Lakers (Slo's pick: Lakers)
This is what the Mavs got Caron Butler and Brandon Haywood for, to play the Lakers. I'm very curious to see how this game ends up. The reason why I'm taking the Lakers is because I feel that they have something to prove. That despite all of the moves made around them, they are still the best team out west.

Suns vs 76ers (Slo's pick: Suns)
The Suns are coming off a great win without Steve Nash against the Thunder. Now that they're getting him back I can't imagine their going to drop a home game to the Sixers.

Jazz vs Bobcats (Slo's pick: Jazz)
The Bobcats are free falling right now and they're in danger of putting themselves in a bad position heading into the homestretch for the playoffs. It doesn't help them that the Jazz are as hot as ever and show no signs of slowing down.

Clippers vs Pistons (Slo's pick: Clippers)
The Pistons are easily the most disappointing team of the season this year, I expect them to continue disappointing play tonight against the Clippers in Los Angeles.

Slo's record on the season: 462-234
Slo's record last night: 4-4
