NBA Regular Season 11-1-09

Heat vs Bulls (Slo's pick: Bulls)
The Heat have had the luxury of playing two bad teams to start the season, they're going to get a wake up call tonight against the Bulls. The Bulls are going to come into Miami eager to show the basketball world that they're a much better team than we saw in Boston on Friday night. I'm taking the Bulls but betting against Dwyane Wade is never easy. He could easily go off for 45 and put another game in my loss column.

Celtics vs Hornets (Slo's pick: Celtics)
The Celtics are the best team in the league and will beat the struggling Hornets tonight in Boston. Even if the Hornets stick with them for a quarter or two the Celtics are just too deep. The Celtics are keeping their undefeated season alive tonight.

Raptors vs Magic (Slo's pick: Raptors)
I'm pretty much banking on Vince Carter not playing tonight with his injured ankle. Don't forget, the Magic are playing without Rashard Lewis for the first ten games of the season. Without those two, the Raptors will come away with a win at home.

Thunder vs Blazers (Slo's pick: Blazers)
A disappointing loss last night in Houston should inspire the Blazers to go into Oklahoma City tonight and beat a team that they're supposed to be much better than. If they don't win this game then I won't be picking them against a good team for awhile. Also, I think the Thunder may be a sleeper in the west, if they win tonight then I'm hopping on the bandwagon.

Nuggets vs Grizzlies (Slo's pick: Nuggets)
The Nuggets are going to win easily. They are better than the Grizzlies at every position and will clearly display that fact tonight in Denver.

Suns vs T'Wolves (Slo's pick: Suns)
The Suns will win in a blowout. Expect more fast break points than the T'Wolves will score all season.

Lakers vs Hawks (Slo's pick: Lakers)
Kobe is going to have a big night in wake of an embarrassing loss to the Mavs on friday. The Hawks have been playing well this season but they're going to see what a championship team plays like tonight. Even without All Star center Pau Gasol.

Slo's record on the season: 24-13
Slo's record last night: 5-2
